Fun facts (OR NOT SO FUN) about me
I was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
I’m 30 years old.
For those who care, my star sign is Scorpio and my rising sign is Capricorn.
I'm of Brazilian, British, Italian, and Portuguese descent, and I hold two passports.
The first dog I ever had was a Beagle named Duque, who I lost at the age of 23. Even now, I still dream about him frequently.
I lost a small part of my hearing due to a swimming accident when I was 12, which happened three times until I was 18.
My first taste of earning money came at the age of 13, when I built my own "Tibia" game server. However, my mother put a stop to it due to energy concerns at home.
Improved my English skills by watching tutorials of all kinds - Adobe Softwares, Design, Coding
I used to make stop motion and special effects videos with Adobe After Effects at age of 14.
I was a Youtuber before the term existed, making “stupid” videos and short films with friends.
Using 3D Studio Max, I was able to design and build my own apartment in 3D at the age of 15.
I taught my bird how to whistle Flamengo's Anthem (Brazilian's Football Team), recorded and the video has so far 318.290 views on Youtube.
You may see me whistling while walking down the street, as I am quite addicted to it.
For anyone who shares my love of whistling, I created a Spotify playlist called "Whistle, baby" featuring top whistle songs.
A unique talent of mine is being able to "flip off" my middle toe.
At the age of 17, I moved to the United States by myself to finish high school, without knowing anyone there.
I used to be a swimmer, with a personal record of 23.03 seconds on the 50m freestyle. It's 2.12 seconds more than the world record.
I once gave my little cousin a "Pokemon," which turned out to be a real duck. My aunt was less than thrilled to keep it in the apartment for three weeks.
At the age of 21, I began studying Visual Communication & Marketing at ESPM in Rio de Janeiro.
During my first year of college, I worked at Walt Disney World at Hollywood Studios, Epcot, and Animal Kingdom.
My first internship was designing decks and building scenography.
For three years while studying, I worked as an unpaid Creative Director for the Varsity, designing sports jerseys and cheerleader costumes, raising money through graphic T-shirts I created, and even designing the mascot, "Jacarito Style." I saw more than one person get a tattoo of it.
At Group Reserva, I had the opportunity to design and produce over 200 graphic T-shirts, which I spotted on random people and even famous individuals on the street.
Applied for an unpaid Art Direction internship at College. Didn't get the job because my Portfolio “wasn't suitable”.
Despite being rejected for an unpaid Art Direction internship due to the unsuitability of my portfolio, I eventually landed an Art Director intern position at "Ogilvy&Mather Brazil," a previous year's Cannes Agency of the Year winner.
I managed to complete two undergraduate theses simultaneously in Design and Advertising, though it was a struggle. That year, I ended up in the hospital three times due to a lack of sleep.
Took the first flight to Europe just one day after receiving my diploma, without telling my family/friends. Have been in London since 2016.
Before I left, I taught my Grandma how to use her cellphone and Whatsapp. Today she is a Pro, and send me every day audios, "good morning/ night” and "Jesus blessing” pictures.
My first job in the UK was working as a Waiter for a Catering agency.
Once I worked at Abbey Road Studios on an event as a waiter. “Earth, Wind & Fire” was the main band attraction. It was awesome.
While working as a waiter I applied to more than 100 jobs online and delivered my CV to more than 20 AD agencies. Even got kicked out by securities at Y&R. Got only one interview but wasn’t suitable for the Junior position.
My first job in an advertising agency in UK was as Sandwich Maker. Yes, I got a job working at Geometry Global London's canteen making sandwich for employees.
Two weeks later I got hired by Juan Posada, and was working for the same agency as a Junior Creative.
After 10 months as an employee, achieved my first 2 Lions and the first-ever Cannes Lions and LIA awards for Geometry Global London.
In 2017 I Iistened for 80,744 minutes, to 4,242 different songs, 1,594 artist and 54 genres on Spotify.
Beginning of 2018 got an offer at GTB to work for Ford. Colleagues told me it wouldn't be good for my portfolio to do only car ad.
My first works for Ford, called the Noise-Cancelling Kennel and Lane-Keeping Bed, isn't a "car ad". It was featured in well-known publications such as Fast Company, Mashable, LadBible and TV channels, reaching over 6 billion impressions.

In 2018 I travelled to 9 countries.
I have a thing for McDonald's, kind of like a connoisseur, and I try McDonald's in every country I visit. I'm proud to say I've tried McDonald's in more than 20 countries and on every continent in the world.
Achieved my first D&AD award and the first-ever pencil for GTB London.
Helped achieve the YouTube Silver Play Button (100,000 Subscribers) for Ford Europe account with Interventions Campaign.
In 2019 I travelled to 4 continents
At the beginning of 2020, I decided to leave London to start working on the other side of the world, at one of my top 3 agencies since college times: ColensoBBDO
After 2 months working for ColensoBBDO, the COVID arrived in Auckland. Everything was shut down and we started working from Home.
We received the news that 25% of the agency would be redundant because of financial issues.
I was made redundant, got proposed to be relocated to Australia, but ended up deciding to return back to London, after 5 months of working in New Zealand.
One month later, I was offered the opportunity to work again for Apple, at TBWA\Media Arts Lab London.
As much as I had been working only 6 months for ColensoBBDO, by the end of the year, I was recognized as 2020 #1 Lürzer's Archive Art Director in New Zealand and worked on a campaign that got a Cannes Lion Shortlist.
In 2020 I lived in 3 different continents.
Started 2021 as a Petsitter, by taking care of dogs while I work from home. So far I’ve received more than 500 bookings and have made lots of furry friends.
By the end of 2021, I was feeling a bit depressed and overweight. I decided to train for my first half marathon in the following year. Since then, I haven't stopped. I completed the half marathon, a couple of marathons, a triathlon, a 70.3 Ironman, and now I have a goal to finish an ultra-marathon and a full Ironman in 2024.
In 2023 I travelled to 4 continents.
